Flats Under ₹75 Lakh in Ahmedabad: Where to Look
₹75 lakh is a practical budget for many families buying their first or second home in Ahmedabad. It opens up 2 BHK and some 3 BHK options in the growing parts of the city, in both new projects and resale flats.

What you get for this budget depends a lot on the area, the age of the building and whether the flat is ready or under construction.

Areas buyers commonly look at

North and north-west Ahmedabad
- Gota and Ognaj are close to SG Highway and the Science City side, with many newer residential projects.
- Chandkheda, Motera, Zundal and Tragad have good access to Gandhinagar, the metro corridor and the Sabarmati side.

West Ahmedabad
- South Bopal and Shela have a wide choice of gated projects, though prices vary a lot from one project to another.

East Ahmedabad
- Nikol, Naroda and Vastral often give more carpet area for the same budget, and are popular with families working on the eastern side and in industrial areas.

Prices change from project to project and month to month. Check current asking prices on the locality pages and the price trends page before you shortlist.

What to expect for this budget

- New 2 BHK flats in developing areas. Some 3 BHK options in east and north Ahmedabad.
- Resale flats in older, central societies. These may be smaller but are closer to the city.
- Under-construction projects, where payments are spread out but possession comes later.

Checks before you book

1. Carpet area. Compare flats on carpet area, not super built-up area.
2. RERA registration. Check under-construction projects on the GujRERA portal.
3. Total cost. Ask for parking, maintenance deposit, GST, stamp duty and registration in writing.
4. Daily travel. Drive or take the metro on the route to your workplace at peak time.
5. Water and maintenance. Ask current residents about the water supply and monthly maintenance.
6. Resale paperwork. For a resale flat, check the title chain, society NOC and the latest property tax receipt.

Ready or under construction?

A ready flat lets you move in right away, and no GST applies when the completion certificate has been issued. An under-construction flat may come with a lower entry price and a staged payment plan, but you wait for possession and take on some delay risk. See Blog 4 for a full comparison.

FAQs

Can I get a 3 BHK flat under ₹75 lakh in Ahmedabad?
Yes, in some areas, mostly in east and north Ahmedabad and in some resale societies. Most new projects in western areas offer 2 BHK at this budget.

What home loan do I need for a ₹75 lakh flat?
Banks usually finance up to 75–80% of the property value at this price, so plan for a down payment of about 20–25%, plus stamp duty and registration. Your exact loan amount depends on your income and the bank.

Is it better to buy near the metro?
Being near a metro station can make daily travel easier and helps when you rent or resell. It is one factor to weigh alongside price, the builder and the condition of the flat.
